This program takes place Dec 7th, 2024 at Chesapeakes's Bounty in St.Leonard, MD
 
The program is from 1pm-3pm and will take place outdoors. The program is weather permitting and we will reschedule if raining, snowing or other unfavorable conditions.
 
Students will learn the following:
basic facts about the honeybee and colony behavior
life cycle of a honeybee
apiary and hive tour
play educational games to reinforce subject matter
learn about hive products using the senses
make and take home a product from the hive
 
All Ages are welcome and will learn something, though the content is geared towards 5-12 year olds.
